Meridian is founded on a simple belief: America is stronger when dignified blue-collar careers are the backbone of the middle class.

Our founding team has spent years building founder-led, blue-collar businesses, growing organizations from small local companies into enterprises with thousands of employees. Along the way, we kept seeing the same pattern.

Exceptional founders eventually reach a crossroads. They can stay independent and compete against organizations with greater scale and resources, or they can sell and risk watching the culture, people, and reputation they spent decades building slowly disappear.

We don’t believe those should be the only two options. We built Meridian to offer a third way.

That belief shaped how Meridian itself is built. We’re not organized like a traditional investment fund. We’re an operating company with committed capital. We don’t run on a clock that pressures us to buy and sell businesses every few years, and we don’t manage a collection of unrelated portfolio companies.

Instead, we’ve built Meridian as a permanent home for exceptional businesses and the people who built them.

Success for Meridian won’t be measured simply by revenue or acquisitions. It will be measured by whether, decades from now, the technicians, dispatchers, service managers, parts managers, and leaders inside our companies have built meaningful careers, supported thriving families, and passed stronger businesses to the next generation than the ones they inherited.
